Introduction: Every home has a story, we are here to help your new home tell you that story. At Norway Hill Home Inspections, we listen. Not only do we listen to your wants and needs in a new home, we also listen to the story that your new home is trying to tell. We then communicate that story into a detailed written report that will help you understand your new homes, needs and wants. We will evaluate all the accessible components and equipment that make up your new home. We will provide a detailed written report that will include photographs of items, such as main shutoffs, maintenance needs and any issues that may need further investigation. We also provide water testing, radon testing, sewer inspections and mold sampling/testing, as well as air-quality testing.

This is my 4th home purchase and it was the first time I've walked away from a home inspection feeling as if I'd probably made the best investment I've ever made on my new property. Kurt was the most thorough and knowledgeable inspector I've ever encountered. He has an extensive background in home construction and ventures where most home inspectors fear to tread. His report, which included photos of every item that needed attention was the best I've ever encountered and shows me exactly what items I need to attend to once I'm in my new home. Kurtis was professional throughout the entire experience. The communication was constant from the setting of the appointment until it's completion. He was informative, respectful of time and communicated with my clients to make sure they understood the report. He over delivered. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are continually updating our education. We are required to achieve a minimum of 20 hours of continuing education every 2 years. In 2014 I logged more then 130 hours of continuing education.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
A thorough home inspection will take 2-3 hours, sometimes longer. Anyone that claims they can do a home inspection in an under 2 hours is not as thorough and may miss some important issues. Be sure your inspector is willing to spend the time that you will require to evaluate and explain all components of your home.
