Introduction: I've met plenty of other folks that DJ and just do it for the check. I do this because I enjoy it, and I put a lot of myself into it. I've put together a good setup that is visually interesting and sounds good. Combine that with my musical knowledge and personality, and I'm pretty hard to beat. Um, if I do say so myself. When that guy in the back hears something he hasn't heard since high school, and jumps up and yells "NO WAY!" and just storms the floor... when I take a risk and play that forgotten song from 20 years ago and the place just explodes, that's awesome. Those are the moments that I live for.

We hired Jason for an all-day outdoor company event last summer. He arrived on time with a high performance sound system (complete with all the extras) and most importantly...a great attitude! Talk to Jason for any length of time and you'll soon figure out that music is his passion. He loves what he does, and it shows! It didn't take long for Jason to "read the crowd" and play just the right tunes from his huge selection of music. It was a long day - and the weather was cold and damp. However, Jason kept the crowd moving all day. He is a true professional. We'd hire him again in a second.

panicBoy is our go to DJ service! We have utilized his service at multiple school functions and for a family wedding. Jason is super professional, timely, organized for quick setup, well spoken, always accommodating with music selection, knows his crowd, works the crowd and is forever patient with persistent pre-teen song requests at school functions. He may not think that Gagnam Style is the best song ever written, but he'll play it with a smile on his face, if that is what is requested. The dance floor is always packed! :-) Jason comes highly recommended.

Jason did an awesome job getting everyone moving at our wedding. There were a few technical difficulties (I think due to the outdoor space we were in) but nothing he didn't handle quickly and professionally. Jason was fun and genuinely seemed to enjoy being a part of our day-- frequently stopping by to share things he particularly liked. He also always checked in to make sure we were happy with how things were going. He even had a few blow up toys and a confetti bomb everyone got a blast out of. For everything we got, Jason was very affordable. Thank you!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I absolutely like to meet with my clients over a meal to not only work out the details, but to also form a personal bond. This makes my contribution much more heartfelt, and I feel it improves my performance.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was 15. I didn't really dance. I had tons of records and tapes. I loved music. When school dances came around, I was the guy. Now It's 25 years later, and I'm still that guy.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Weddings are a DJs bread and butter. Sure, there are all kinds of parties, and yes I've played plenty of them, but 90% of a DJ's schedule are weddings.
