Bio

I've been a musician for 20+ years and have devoted much of my life to learning and experiencing all that I can in the world of music. I love to teach guitar, perform and record.

About Jesse Andreasen Studios

GUITAR LESSONS
I have 20+ years experience playing guitar, including training at Berklee College of Music. I teach acoustic, electric and bass guitar. My approach to teaching is to develop a plan based on a studentís personal goals and interests, according to their particular learning style. I have a lot of experience, insight and resources to offer to students of all ages, from beginner into advanced levels.

I have many years of performance experience in a variety of genres and venues; musicals, rock bands, unplugged, leading contemporary worship music in churches... You name it and I've probably done it. Rates vary for each situation depending on time commitment and travel requirements, but they are guaranteed to be competitive and reasonable.

RECORDING
I also offer recording services in my project studio or remotely which is based around a Pro Tools 11 software and a Universal Audio Apollo interface system. The studio is a great place to record both solo artists and bands and my rates are very competitive.

Jesse was instrumental in helping us setup and improve our praise team band for our church. He has helped us with everything from instrumental work to improving our teams practice skills to helping us with sound reinforcing equipment for our church. All in all it, he has been very helpful in getting us to where we are today.

I loved working with Jesse Andreasen. Whatever you would like to learn from playing guitar, recording and even theory theory, then this is your man. We had some excellent times and he even helped me write my own song for a school project that we completed in a couple of weeks. If you haven't already talk to Jesse and start taking lessons with him.

Jesse is one of the most gifted musicians I've ever worked with. Studying guitar with him has been a true delight and blessing.

I've worked with many guitar teachers in my past, and Jesse is by far the best one I've ever worked with! I've been one of Jesse's students for about four years now and plan to continue working with him.

Taking guitar lessons with Jesse has been a great experience. He is a great teacher with lots of invaluable information that you couldn't learn from a book, and is very supportive of any ambitions I've had with my instrument. He goes above and beyond to the point of taking time to help students make the best equipment-purchasing decisions for them. I plan to take lessons from Jesse as long as I can! :)

Great instructor, taught everything I asked to learn and more. If possible I would still be taking lessons with Jesse. He is very supportive with teaching his students, and very flexible with scheduling.

Jesse is an outstanding person as he is an outstanding musician. After taking lessons with Jesse, I was more in touch with music on a deeper level.

Question and answer

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I customize my student's lesson plans to fit their goals and interests, it is not a cookie-cutter approach. I also have a lot of perks in my studio like computer software to slow songs down for transcription, a printer/copier for instant printed materials, extra guitars and effects to experiment with and learn about tone and equipment, recording capabilities, and more.

My goal is to do whatever I can to support a studentís enthusiasm for guitar and music. I am always willing to go the extra mile, which may mean helping them choose a new instrument at the music store, or attending a performance to hear them play.
