Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. With over 20 years online and 15 of building web sites, I've been involved in the Internet for a long time relatively speaking. In 2007, I started Just Works to help the average person and small business customer better understand computers and the Internet. I take great pride in finding the best possible solution to each customer's needs and implementing that solution in the most cost-effective manner.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I love making things work, work right, work well, work better, and work more efficiently. Not only do I build web sites for my customers, but I build and maintain several of my own as hobby sites in whatever spare time I have. This is not just a job, it's also a love, a hobby, a passion. I love the look on a customer's face when they say, "Wow! I didn't know you could do that!"
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. The most frequently asked question I get is "Where did you learn to do this?" My answer is that I taught myself. My college roommate introduced me to the Internet and I was off learning on my own ever since then. I love learning new things and putting that knowledge to good use.
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. A friend of mine in Florida, who designs jewelry came to me to help her get her web site redesigned. The work was *brutal*. She had exact details laid out and she wanted it to be perfect. It took me WEEKS to do it, but I did. Today I run not one but three web sites because of the work I did for her. It pays to go the extra mile!
