FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer a wide range of services, from training intensive 'bootcamp' to 15 minute potty breaks and everything in between. The purpose of the consultation is to determine the best options for your budget while still meeting your needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always start off with a free consultation for my new client. This gives me an opportunity to meet the dog and owners while allowing the humans to sit down and discuss training options and their goals together. This information allows me to create a training plan for their dog and schedule the time we need to accomplish our goals. How often we meet and how often the owner is present is determined on a case by case basis.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors of science in Animal Behavior from the University of New England. This is coupled with a behavior internship and several years experience working with dogs in animal shelters, dog daycares, and boarding facilities. I am a proud member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and make a point to continue my education through seminars and online courses as a way to stay up to date on research and techniques related to dog training and behavior. Our other trainers are similarly qualified and our walkers all undergo extensive training before handling dogs on their own. We are all canine first aid and CPR certified.
