FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I start most of my clients out with a basic intro package so they can get their feet wet with personal training without breaking the bank! The intro package is $175 for 5 sessions in my training studio. Thereafter I have packages that range from $30 per session up to $60+ per session, depending on the client's training preferences.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After any initial email correspondence, I like to speak with potential clients over the phone to get an idea of what they're looking for in a trainer, and what they want to get out of their training. After the phone conversation, I like to meet them in person and talk in more depth about their goals, as well as get a health and medical history. Our first "training" session is usually spent doing a fitness assessment so I can get an idea of their fitness level, abilities, and limitations. All of these things help me to better understand the client I have in front of me. From there, I can put together an initial training program and start them on the road toward becoming stronger and more fit.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Personal Trainer with two advanced degrees in Education and Counseling. I am also CPR, AED, and First Aid Certified.
