Introduction: Simpson Northeast Contracting has merged with a family friend and is now C & M Excavation and Trucking. We still happily provide general contracting, building etc, but also focus on Excavation, land clearing, landscaping and Trucking. We are a small family run business with an emphasis on honestly and longevity. If we are hired to your residence or property, you are buying quality workmanship and supporting a small local business. We focus on excavation and landscaping/hardscaping, but also fill in our schedule with house remodels, new builds, and even vacation rental management. Insured and experienced, we're ready to help.

Our driveway was in bad shape from bad Drainage and potholes getting worse from rain, these guys came in and added swales in the sides to direct water to the end into a culvert, regrade and topped our driveway and it came out absolutely awesome. After compacting it's like concrete and so far we haven't had any sitting water anywhere. If I ever need more dirt work done I wouldn't call anyone else!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing can vary depending on the job and location. I offer free estimates, and am very open to different pricing options that meet multiple budgets. In some cases, one job can turn into another and I am happy to give discounts for such situations as well!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love interacting and getting to learn about the customer and their projects, so I always start with a phone call and a meet. On larger jobs I make it a point to keep the customer up to date on any progress.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
10+ years working in landscaping and excavation, visiting expos and keeping up to date with technologies. I have a bachelors degree in science/forestry, and we keep up to date on new technologies.
