FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge a $50 service fee to come out and then $150 an hour. If this is a job where I need to troubleshoot something and it needs a part, I will go over the cost of the part and labor BEFORE just installing it. So there is no surprise bill at the end. I am very transparent when it comes to the billing process.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
starting from the first phone call or text, depending on the customers preference. I will go over what the concern they are having, whether it is an estimate or problem with their system. I will then inform them of the billing process. on the scheduled day, I will call the customer when I am on my way to providing an ETA.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a gas license, EPA certified(AC and heat pumps), and NORA certified(oil). I have worked with a propane fuel company, so I training in areas of gas the advantage license gas technician does not.
