My work stands out from others, because no one knows what shots I am going to take but me. I am the only one that has my vision. I am artistic. I want the great shot, just as much as you do. Its an experience with me, and knowing that I will deliver. What do I like most about my job? Lets change that to love! I love making people smile!I can't say this is really a job. It is definitely a passion! With that said... there is nothing better than being able to hold a photo in your hand and say... I can show my kids this when they are older, or I can put this proudly on my wall and display it for everyone who enters my home. I love knowing that a customer is proud to show off the photos that I take. It means I'm doing a great thing, and I absolutely love that!

Lauren photographed my engagement session two years ago and most recently I worked with her on a stylized bridal shoot. Each time I've worked with her I've had so much fun! I'm not a natural in front of the camera and she makes me feel super comfortable and tells me exactly how to pose. ANdd she captures raw moments of happiness of us being ourselves, not just the poses. She is super flexible and has your best interest at heart. You can tell her passion is photography and making her clients happy. She won't make you wait for your pictures either, her turn around time is impressive. Lauren is the best! Super easy and fun to work with, you will love bokeh love photography!!

I hired Lauren to be the photographer for my wedding and she went above and beyond the call. She is a great photographer and very personable. It was great working with her and cannot wait for another opportunity to enlist her services. The photos that she shot on that day are the best of the best and I could not have asked for a better photographer. Photography by Lauren is A++

I hired Bokeh Love Photography for my maternity photo's in 2011 and have been coming back to update family photos ever since! Bokeh Love has a magical way of capturing our family but I especially love their unfailing ability to get our individual personalities to show up on film. I smile everytime I look through our photos! Hits the nail on the head everytime. Not your typical "pose and say say cheese" photographer. Very convenient and professional. Will be hiring for my 2014 wedding!

Lausen's attention to detail & technique used is a favorite of mine!! Her photography most definately compliments my body art http://www.heatherart.vpweb.com. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly networking with other photographers, watching online seminars, reading, and educating myself on how to do certain things. In addition to always shooting something, every single day to keep me fresh.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I went to college for Graphic Design. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Art & Design. I love Graphic Design! While in college, I also took up photography. I learned dark room techniques, how to develop with a sponge, and a paint brush. I had so much fun. I received my first DSLR in college as a christmas gift.. and I never put it down! I fell in love with seeing the world through a lens. I could show people a different way of seeing. It's a whole world that a lot of people don't know about, and to show someone a different angle on life, really can change one persons outlook on the world. It's... amazing.
