Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. When looking for a dog trainer take the time to read their site and any testimonials they may have. Be willing to ask them questions about their trade and their beliefs. Meet them for a consultation before you decide to train with them to make sure there is a good fit. When you hire a trainer you are basically hiring them because you want what they have. Take the time to investigate - don't just go by price. You and your dog both have to feel good about your decision.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. I believe that a client should do some research on the trainer they are looking to hire. Then they should meet with the person to feel if there is a good fit. Also take the time to reach out to any previous clients and ask for their experience. Hiring a dog trainer is like hiring a personal trainer - you want to feel comfortable with them and their techniques and confident that they will be able to help you.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. My work stands out from others because I don't just treat a dog as the breed. I get there and look to the individual animal to work and find the best possible way to work with them. What makes them tick, what turns them on and what is the best way to get across what we want them to learn.
In addition to that I also look to the owners and figure out the same thing for them. I work to find a way for the owner to communicate with their pooch in a way that is comfortable for them while using their personality.
I guess you could say that I really specialize my training to each family and dogs specific needs!
