FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our classes are not complicated, but our pricing is determined by a few factors: Distance we have to travel. Type of class (Whether it is CPR, CPR & AED, CPR & First Aid, BBP, etc) How many students. You will get the best deal if you have 3 or more students, but if you are close to us, even an individual can get the same deal. Either way, you will find that our prices are better than anyone else in our area. We make sure of that
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Because I certify government employees and military personnel, I am required to know the latest advancements in emergency response training. Gotham EMS was training our students in the compression only technique as soon as it was discussed at the conference, a whole year earlier than it was required
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a Lifeguard as a teenager and had to sit through these classes EVERY year (I only had a one year certification from Red Cross). Then I became an EMT and found that I could take a class from American Heart Association and it would last 2 years. The class was still boring. I felt that there should be different classes for different ability levels. For those who knew what they were doing this class should be quick and to the point. For those who are learning these skills for the first time, there should be more interaction and reasoning behind the instruction. Since I could not find anyone who did this, I decided to do it myself!
