The dog tamer changed the dynamic in our home with our new puppy from chaos to calm and organized. He "trained" my family on how to train our dog and react to him. From food to walks, and everything in between, I highly recommed Tom.

My family's experience with the Dog Tamer was amazing. I called Tom when my German Sheppherd was about 10mos, in that conversation almost in tear's I told Tom I may have to get rid of her she just was a handful. I had tried another trainer I had bought every training device nothing was working she was jumpy, nippy and severely energetic. Tom had said let me come a few times and I guarantee you'll see a difference. Well within 1 session Bacci was a different dog, we did 3 additional sessions and each time he left i would just say wow how does he do that. Staying on top of Bacci keeping up with all Tom taught us has made it possible to keep her and can't imagine not having her now. Thank You Tom!

We called Tom shortly after our two American Bulldogs got into a horrific fight. When Tom came into our home, our dogs responded to him right away. He was calm, assertive and yet he made the training fun. Not only did he train our dogs, but he taught us as well. He provided us with useful information for bully breed owners, and he taught us things to do to fulfill their natural instinct. They are now well behaved dogs, and we are now the pack leaders that they respect. A true professional, we would highly recommend him.
Thanks Tom!– Adrienne And Scott

Tom was amazing! We didn't know what to expect but after he left our evaluation session we couldn't wait for him to come back. He not only offers individual sessions but packages as well. He not only helped our dog but also helped us to help our dog balance his life.
We have a 4 year old male yellow lab named Tiger that was pulling on the leash during walks and jumping on people when they gave him attention.
Within minutes of meeting tom it was evident he was not only there to offer behavioral training, as requested, but the overall well being of our dog. He provided insight on grooming techniques, food, treats, body language, etc...
Using Tom's techniques we noticed a dramatic change in areas either myself or my fiance were struggling in before such as pulling while walking and new people coming over.
Even though our package is up Tom still gives us advice/help over the phone and truly cares about our dog Tiger.
To sum it up i would HIGHLY recommend Tom to anyone.
Sincerely,
Steve, Jackie & Tiger– Steve

Before The Dog Tamer, my lab/border collie mix was constantly pulling on the leash, invading peoples space by jumping all over them and had complete disrespect for me!
After The Dog Tamer, she no longer pulls on our walks, has shown large improvement with her jumping and now shows me respect. She continues to try and get her way, and I continue to change it in a positive way.
I've received many compliments about her new behavior on our walks from those who live in the area... "there is the best behaved dog in the complex" was one of them!
I thank The Dog Tamer for training me to overcome all the unacceptable behaviors my dog dishes out! And I thank my good friend for referring him to me. THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
Sincerely,
Lillian & Lexi– Lillian

Tom is the Dog Whisperer of the East. Our dog Elvis a black lab mix has been trained by Tom ever since he was a puppy. Tom trained us how to care for our dog properly. With all of Tom's knowledge he has helped us understand what we need to do to make Elvis a balanced dog. Elvis was potty trained at 10 weeks. He never chewed on anything. He sits, stays, lays down easily. He's not scared of thunder or fireworks. He's not food or toy possessive. Also we were trained to walk him the right way. Elvis doesn't pull when I walk him at all. Elvis is friendly to dogs and humans alike. Also Elvis has a bunny brother who he loves too even out of the cage. He loves kids and is more than happy to lick your face or shake your hand. Uncle Tom is a household word in our home make him one in yours too. Your dog will thank you for it.

What do you do when you love your dog, but don't love living with him/her? Well, you can do what I did and call, Tom, The Dog Tamer. My dog was impulsive, non-compliant, and non-responsive to the boundaries of authority. Hiring Tom embarked positive change in my dog and my life. Tom is able to come in and apply his comprehensive understanding of behavior modification to train canine behavior and response. But, what truly makes Tom stand out is his enpowering natural and innate connection with dogs. His gift with dogs is special. Trusting your dog with Tom will no doubt bring the individualized results you are seeking to bring balance to your home and dog.

Question and answer
Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. I provide behavior modification with custom one on one training at the clients comvenience. I basically train people how to give their beloved canines better lives through educating them how to properly communicate with their dogs. Training techniques are comprehensive towards the clients needs.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. My advice for customers is to weigh the benefits of a well trained dog versus having a dog who is driving them crazy and realize that in the long run, a great trainer can save them money due to destruction of their personal property and of course peice of mind that their dog(s) can interact with their family and friends. Nothing in life is free, and the knowledge I can provide them is priceless. The great relationship I can show them with their dog(s) is a reward for life. The Balance is can teach them can improve their lives as well as their beloved canines.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. The most important information clients should realize is that although money is always an issue, clients should realize that a great trainer will actually save them money in the long haul. Destructive behavior can cost thousands of dollars not to mention grief and stress. Also, One on one trainers are far more effective in getting results than group classes, especially in behavior modification. Nothing is more rewarding to me than seeing the positive transfomation in the relationship between Dog and Owner through training people and rehabilitating Dogs.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I have been asked what sets me apart form other Dog Trainers. I believe I get results where others fail. It is very important to my clients that they get their Dog(s) to behave well and become a balanced, loving part of their family. I show my clients how to get a balacned dog through one on one training. All behavioral problems will be addressed and corrected.
So many of my clients have taken their Dog(s) to other training centers, or have hired other private trainers and were extremely frustrated because their pets still were exhibiting the behavioral problems that they wanted corrected. The Dog Tamer gets results period. I have been called "a miracle worker" by most of my clients and they are now enjoying calmer, more balanced pets through my training. No Dog is too much for me, BIG or small.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. To me, there is nothing more satisfying than seeing a transfomation in a dogs behavior to a balanced state. It is so enjoying to witness a dog go from a frustrated state of mind and body to a calm canine. To equally view an owners gratification to finally see their beloved pet transform into the pet that they always desired-calm and well balanced. I truly am a dog lover and am 100% devoted to a dogs well being.
