Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Lasting Impressions Photography features all-day event photography services. Most people prefer our service for many reasons; however, those who are willing to spend thousands of dollars opt for a different service. We do not charge by the hour or by the image. We will never lock you in to a package deal. If you choose our service, you will have more freedom and control over your own images. We merely reserve the right to use your photos in ads or portfolio samples; however, all images we take belong to you. There are no "proofs" to buy, no copyright written across them nor are the images printed on special paper so that you cannot copy them. We offer options to fit any budget; the price is tailored to your needs, based on details, locations, duration and other factors. Below, you will find a basic breakdown for a full-service event, allowing you to see why we do what we do and the way we do it. You get two photographers: One (me) will be at your side to focus on you and your husband and the immediate family. My second-in-command is there for organization, crowd control, and sometimes as a peacekeeper. He is in charge of all candid photos, table shots, etc. We do that because, at a wedding, the bride and groom miss many things because everyone wants their attention on that day. I need to pull you away for photos at different times, and we want you to go home with a story of your wedding if you will. I'll focus on you and the bridal party, and he'll photograph their reaction to you. If hired, we are there for you, from the time you start to get dressed to the last event, which is usually the cutting of the cake. We'll take photos of your family and your bridesmaids helping you "get ready". If hired for the day, that's what you get for the entire day. We shoot anywhere between 300 to 600 images, depending on the time and number of guests. We'll choose our favorite 200 images approx. (give or take), print them (in 4x6s) and put them in an album of our choice. We'll provide you with one CD that has every image we shot, whether it be 400 or 700, all numbered for easy ordering. We choose more photos, which some I turn into B&W and some others into B&W with color mixed in. These images are also put on the same CD. I may even print some and put them in your album, knowing that when people see the images, most would ask "Can I have a copy?". To avoid you having to deal with what they want or getting stuck paying for what they want, we'll provide you with additional CDs to give away. That way, you can say "Here. You can print whatever you like." My partner is a graphic artist. If you have a favorite, but you closed your eyes or your hair had a "flyaway", or even if you want someone removed from that photo, my partner and I are available to make adjustments if needed. We have access to the images at all times, making any reasonable request just a phone call away. We do not create custom wedding albums, because to do so would add a lot of "back and fourth" confusion, and it would add over $500 to the price. Not everyone even wants a custom album. What we do provide are several links of album makers who allow you to make your own choice if you want one. It stops us from having to charge you $20 for an 8x10 that only costs $4.00 to have printed at a local photo lab that you can order and put in your own album. If you do research, other photographers will charge you for the event, provide you with "proofs" and meet with you several times to make an album, then charge you three times the cost to print those images and to assemble the album. Our CDs can be taken to a printing facility of your choice, and you pay what you want to pay. We only ask that you provide us with enough time for portraits on that day. We can do it in any way you wish, but the normal and best ways to do it are as follow: * Provide us time to do shots of you getting ready * Provide us extra time for portraits after the service, if it is in a church We ask that after everyone leaves to go off to the reception site, your and your husband's immediate family and the bridal party stay behind for church photos. It usually takes about thirty to forty minutes, again depending on the size of the wedding party. After the service and photos at the church, we request time to take you and the bridal party to a location of your choice for more portraits. Some people prefer to go to the reception site rather than a separate location, and if that is your wish, we again ask for extra time to do portraits at the reception site, either using the facility, if it has a nice area to do so, if not, we do bring along our backdrops. We prefer it this way so that we can get 90% of the "portraits" done; we don't need to interrupt you, pulling you away from your day, but as mentioned above, when you are pulled away, my second-in-command will be taking care of the crowd. We make every effort to work with your DJ or band, the host of your reception center and anyone else involved, making sure your day runs smoothly. For instance, if you also have a videographer, we'll respectfully take turns to be sure each person involved can do his or her job. If this seems like something you are looking for, please get back to me with any questions you may have. We understand that weddings are very expensive, and it is not our main source of income. We are not salespeople; in fact, I hate pushy salespeople. You should not be pressured in any way to lock in to something you don't feel comfortable with. All of my clients are willing to provide references of our work if you would like.
