Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Our most common jobs would be exterior drainage and moisture control waterproofing. Or if not possible interior " Airtight" drainage and moisture control systems. We will do it healthy and safe or walk away....

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. My advice to customers who have water problems would be. Stop! take a deep breath. I know its a scary thing having water and mold problems. Its even more scary to not do research and end up with worse problems and wasted funds. Use the BBB, use waterproofing associations. Find out if there is a certified basement health contractor in your area. They are a cut above the rest!

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. There's really no secret to the effects that water and moisture are causing in homes all over America. Did you know ATLEAST 40% of the air you breath comes from your basement or crawlspace? So for my customers, as we push away or try to forget our dark damp spaces "down there". The room is only under our feet and has many ways to enter and remind us of the problems. Musty smell, dampness, mold, bugs and many other great features to go along with an untreated area. It could be the reason for sneezing or illness in your home. Have you tested for radon lately? The EPA recommends every two years homes be checked for radon. Why you ask, It is the second leading cause of lung cancer behind smoking. Radon is the breakdown of uranium in the soil within the earth. It is an odorless and tasteless gas. The only way to know if you have a problem is to do a simple inexpensive test. Test today!!

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We care about our customers and it is important to continue correcting air quality in a home. Most home owners spend up to 80% of their time in doors. Our methods are healthier for you, your family and your foundation. Call us today for a free inspection...

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Completing a job where we know we have given the customer a safe, dry and clean space to live. They then can feel comfortable enough to use the area as part of their home again. Not just call it "down there"

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. They ask Jermaine, I've never had water in my space before why all of a sudden??

My answer is. You have probably always have had water, it just never made it inside. As we know over time, water washes away sediments in rivers. It disintegrates anything in its path. Another feature, Liquid is used to create pressure in machinery psi (pounds per square inch). Apply this theory to your foundation that is below ground. That eroding and pressure of water leads to soft points which allows infiltration into your home. There are many other causes or variations but this is the most common.
