A. Always go with a name you can check out. Always see if the comapnay has photo's and references availible. Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Shopping around for materilas is one of the best ways to making the project affordable. People do not seem to realise that tile for 1$ a sq. ft. looks just like 15$ a sq. ft. I would shop around a little bit more if I was a customer.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Clients should only need to know a time for me to show up and walk through with them. If they are educated enough to know how its done... Great! If not thats why they are calling us. For our expertise. If you have a water leak I do not expect you to know why. Otherwise you would fix it. Thats were we come in. We take care of everything soup to nuts.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. We are trying to expand our business buy helping those who don't have the means to take care of some repairs or a new kitchen. We want your friends and family to see outstanding work at a fraction of the cost. Our references are great but our work is even better. Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. How can your pricing be so far lower than the other estimates? Simple, my wife and I woke up one morning and were just tiered of those who could not afford to have the basic repairs made due to their finacial means. We decieded that we would gear our business to helping those who could not afford to have the work done. We will never be rich monetarily but we can not have a greater reward than being able to help out our brothers and sisters in this world who need a hand.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. I worked for this gentlemen Chris P. over the winter. I was only supposed to be there to tile 1 floor. Afterwards he had us do all 3 bathrooms, 2 stage crown moulding throught the first floor, ceiling repairs and then some. I could not believe that such a small estimate turned into so much work. We became friends and now he invited us to his wedding in October!

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. I wish customers knew that estimates and material list's take time and money. Some people acutally just want you to do there home work for them and never have any intention of having you do any work. Thats were doing free estimates hurts contractors a bit. But a good contractor will do them for free as we do. It's a part of doing buisness. I wish more contractors would show up when they say they will be there. Thats why our motto is "We always show up!"

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I grew up in the business. My whole family is in it in one way or another. When I was 8 my father said if you can play nintendo you can drive a skid steer. I worked the summers and week ends for him and my uncles. They taought me a lot of things. I appreciate them truly.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. I finished a bathroom another contractor started and butched. By the end of the job the home owners were so happy but broke. We let the final payment of 800+ dollars go to try to help them out. They have now reffered us to several of their friends. It seems to have been a wise business choice we made. :)

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. I am an eternal student in this buisness. As new materials and codes come out it is a ongoing educational process. If you think you know it all wait a month for something new to throw you a curve ball.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. Permits, permits, permits. New permits needed for lots of stuff. Like the pre-1978 paint law. Don't get caught painting without a permit in a house older than 1978. You just might get a fine? What is this world comming to?

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. 6 bedroom house remodel, 2 baths and kitchen. Not a complete gut but close to it. 7,710$ 4-5 weeks. Not bad huh? We have lost a job or two by people thinking it could not be done that cheap.

Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.

A. 20$ per hour per person. 15$ per hour per person for seniors, veterans and people on fixed incomes. Some people can not afford to have the work done and thats were we come in.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Tools, tools, tools. Buy what you need before you need it. It's no fun having to run out and buy something when your on the job site. It makes the job run smoother as well. More cost efficent means lower pricing for everyone!

A. When are you availible? When ever you need us! We take pride in being flexible to work around others needs and schedules. We offer a 24 hour service as well. You may have to call 2-3 times to wake me up but I will be right there. Can't stay awake 24 hours everyday!
