FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We work together with the client to come up with a plan and design using a mix of native and ornamental plants together with our hardscaping designs using sustainable practices for their landscaping needs and then can act as their representative that would then send out to landscape installers to estimate the installation and oversee their work. We also work and instruct our clients on sustainable practices and the use of native plants and the avoidance of invasive plant species to provide a habitat for native flora and fauna to thrive and for us to enjoy.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Come up with an idea of what you want to accomplish or just a desire to improve their outdoor habitat for themselves. Also it is important for the client to understand that we exclusively provide the ideas and designs that are then used by the client/homeowner or landscape contractors to implement and install the final project. A client needs to come up with a total budget for the entire project, design, consulting, materials, and installation so that there is an understanding of the scope of the project and what can be accomplished with the money allotted.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Landscape design is a collaborative effort between the client and the designer. A series of discussions and questions directs the concepts, feel, and design of the environment that is to be achieved. I provide the "blue prints" for the landscape installation contractors to follow and provide information and instruction to the client.
