I have only had the opportunity to work with Mr. Kholodenko a few times but on each occasion I have been very impressed. Kholodenko has an old-school, almost ancient approach to building the voice and uncovering the most efficient vocal production. He pushes aside dogmatic practices and focuses on vocal techniques which produce vocal results that are brilliant and musical. I feel that any artist interested in pursuing a serious career in opera would benefit from Mr. Kholodenko's knowledge.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
After so many different methods and teachers I have been to, I realized that so many opera singers/students are lost in terms of production of the voice. Finding the right teacher is very difficult, I want to help spread this technique to all that I can! Technique is what is missing in the singing of today.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Never, and I mean NEVER stop searching for that perfect production. Move from voice teacher to voice teacher until you are completely sure; That is what I did. Fortunately, this technique is the only true technique that will help keep that high position, at the same time keeping the freedom in the voice. All the great singers of the past did this, from Pavarotti, Gigli, Kraus, Bjorling, Tebaldi, Popp, Nilsson...the list goes on. These singers made REAL sound.
