Since 1990, Rachelle Burk (Tickles Entertainment NJ) has been entertaining kids of all ages for birthday parties, preschools, and special events. Her programs include a mix of INTERACTIVE activities such as the following:
* COMEDY-MAGIC SHOW
* expert FACE or HAND PAINTING
* parachute fun
* balloon routines
* puppetry
* silly dances
* storytelling
Rachelle's shows are interactive with audience participation. The programs are customized to fit your needs, number of children, time frame, and age group.
See below for specialty shows, i.e. Christmas, Purim, Hanukkah, Halloween, not-afraid-of-clowns, face painter, "summer safety" themed show, and Mother Goof Storyteller.
* Face Painting: This is provided as part of any of the programs below or as an activity alone.
* Tickles the Clown: The clown performs for birthday parties, camps, schools, recreation programs, nursing homes, and special events. Her programs include a mix of activities, such as comedy magic, balloon routines, face painting, silly dances, parachute fun, storytelling and puppetry. Programs are customized to suit your needs, time frame, number of children and age group.
Most shows run an hour to 75 minutes, but you could book longer or shorter programs to fit your schedule.
* Mother Goof the Storyteller: She makes story time come alive with story board, creative dramatics, puppets, masks, and other props. She enchants young audiences at schools, libraries, birthday parties and summer camps with a series of hysterically funny, interactive and energetic tales.
* Safety Show: Tickles teaches little children about keeping safe outdoors, i.e. wearing helmets, approaching dogs, crossing the street, swimming and playing in the sun safely are some of the topics. With audience participation and magic, Tickles would educate, while keeping them laughing.
* Clown-Phobia! (a.k.a. Build-a-Clown): This is a unique show intended to eliminate the fear of clowns in little children by demonstrating the brilliant transformation from "regular person" to clown, followed by a magical performance. This service is for schools, camps, and birthday parties.
* Halloween Witch: Wild and wonderful Wacky Witch might not have the quickest broom in the closet, but she'll have your monsters in stitches with monstrous magic, fantastic face painting, funny fortune telling, and scarcely scary stories.
* Tickles the Elf Holiday Show: Tickles the Elf is one of Santa's helpers. She spends most of her time in Santa's workshop, but today, Santa sends her to entertain the children while they wait for the big day. We think Santa only wants to get her out of his way for a little while, but if you want to laugh, Tickles the Elf has just the right magic for everyone, including limbo under a giant candy cane, giving Rudolf flying lessons, assisting with silly holiday magic, and don't forget, the face painting!
* Hanukkah or Purim Princess: Oy Vey! Princess Meshugana comes with her wacky version of the holiday magic, holiday stories, silly and a full show to celebrate the occasion. This service is for Jewish day schools, Purim carnivals, Hebrew schools, and private parties.
