Decide how important photography is for you. Do you need basic recording of the occasion? Or you want to have timeless images with the emotions of the day captured in a creative artistic way? Look at the photos of the photographer you are considering. Do they inspire you? Bring out emotions? If budget is your priority. If the photographer you love has higher price than your budget. See if you can ask for less so you can meet your budget.
