Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. If I were a customer I would want to know exacty how hazardous to my health the cleaning chemicals being used really are. With the whole grren cleaning movement, many people are concerned about this issue. We can provide MSDS Sheets for all the chemicals we use so that our customers are well informed. We also carry a complete line of Green Cleaning products so that our customers have the option to choose.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. What we like most about our job is being able to make a true change in the lives of our customers. We get a lot of calls where the customer is already discouraged because they believe their situation is so bad that they can only make it a litte better by calling someone in to clean. What we have shown them is that not only could their cleaning problem could get better, we went in with the total determination to truly make a change and we've shown them the difference between Omega Maintenance and the rest. Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Some of our customers think they are calling with strange requests, such as: "Do you guys clean car interiors?", "Can you guys come out now because our building flooded?", "We have had a death in the family and it occurred in the house, can you clean this up for us?' . . . They may all eem strange, but this is what we do. We are available 24 hours / 7 days a week. We strive on maintaining our customers' privacy and confidentiality. Moreover, we are willing and able to take on the most challenging tasks when others are not even available. We work around YOUR schedule, and we are there for you when YOU need us!

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. Our all time favorite story is a time we got a call that a lady and her daughter were moving out of a house in which they had lived for over 20 years. They specified that it was too difficult for them to move their things out and clean the entire house within the next two days. We gathered the information about the work they needed done, which included wiping all the walls, washing the carpets, cleaning all ceiling fans, washing the windows, clean the bathrooms and kitchen and all the floors. It sounded like the usual jobs we did, so we loaded up a truck and took off thinking we should be done in a few hours or so. I must mention that these ladies wanted us to do the work during the night because they had to be out of the house by the next morning. We arrived as scheduled at 10:00 PM and looked around the house to organize the work. To our amazement, once we started washing the ceiling fans we noticed there was a layer of dust and dirt 3 inches thick on each fan blade, the walls had to be brushed and then wiped because the cigarette tar was too thick, and the brown carpet we thought they had was actually supposed to be white (as we discovered once we cleaned it). It was an amazing job, which took us 14 hours to complete, but it was the most shocking before and after we had ever seen, and the lady who owned the house cried because she had forgotten how beautiful her house could really look. It was a very deep sense of accomplishment for us and we will never forget it!
