Entertainment

I offer creative music and movement entertainment for children! They will enjoy 45 minutes of rhythm instrument play, puppets, scarfs, strumming and singing.

I am an experienced early childhood music specialist with high energy and excellent references. I have 20 years as a Music Together instructor. I have background in music therapy with experience in autism, speech and language delays and pediatric cancer.

I also offer private lessons in guitar, ukulele and recorder. Lessons for parents, children or families are available!

  Janet is a very talented music educator, she is especially successful in motivating children to participate, learn and internalize all aspects of music such as body movement, leaning rythm and developing singing abilities from an early age.   We asked Janet to provide music at a birthday party for our son who has autism. He loved it. She provided a wonderful program of music with interactive activities and songs that kept all the children engaged and enthralled. We not only loved her as party entertainment, but found her to be patient and encouraging in teaching guitar to our other son as well!

  Miss Janet's music parties are the BEST! Both my 9-year old and 3-year old daughters love her energy, enthusiasm and rhythm!!! She has created some of the most memorable parties for my family and all of our friends raved about how much fun their children had at the parties, too!   I saw Janet do a concert and the children were so happy to participate. She was very kid friendly and even the shy children wanted to be a part of the fun. (I say this first hand because my own shy child wanted to get up and join in.) Janet has a lovely singing voice and would play along on guitar or with other percussion instruments in a highly interactive and welcoming demonstration of passion and love of music. (Not just Janet's passion, but the children as well.) Kudos and FUN!

  Janet is a lovely lady with a magic touch with children. She plays many instruments and uses many different teaching methods during her music classes. Janet was the entertainment for my son's birthday party and she was fabulous with the entire crowd that spanned many ages. She is loving and thoughtful and considerate and kids LOVE her! My son talks about her all the time and he is only 3-1/2. I would recommend Janet for any party - she is really easy to work with and everyone will have a terrific time!!!
