What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
What makes the pricing complicate is the vast amount of product we have to carry. The variety of quality in carpet, hardwoods, laminates and vinyl flooring makes the reflection of pricing seem difficult to customers.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do send my installers to upgrade classes when the are made available. You have to keep up with the different materials being manufactured and the installation techniques that go with it.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got into this business because I enjoy seeing the finished product and how happy the customer is. A heartfelt satisfaction is always present when I'm done and the job is done right. I love the look in customers eyes and how grateful they are for my service.
