I had a GREAT experience at The Massage Center! Bob took the time to ask questions about what specifically I hoped to gain from the massage and then created a personalized experience to fit my needs. He thoroughly explained what he would do and then gave feedback after the massage to let me know about problem areas. I enthusiastically recommend The Massage Center to anyone looking for a highly skilled, relaxing massage in a professional setting!

A. I wish they knew the real benefits of massage. Massage is so much more than just the typical spa work that most people are familiar with. Dont get me wrong there is certainly a place for the foo foo massage treatments offered at the chain spas and salons. The problem is massage when it is done with the right intention can do your body and mind a world of good. Whether you are looking to rehabilitate an injury, recover from athletic training, manage a chronic problem like fibromyalgia or simply looking to manage stress; finding the right therapist and the right modality will not only treat your current issue but help you avoid future issues. Massage when used regularly can be as preventitive a therapy as you'll find.
A. I've been working since i was 12 years old in one way or another. I worked the counter at a family business and countless other under the table jobs. I worked at a fast food chain when i was 16. I worked in various job titles at a supermarket for over 15 years. One thing that all of these jobs had in common was customer service. I learned to be the best customer service representative possible. To me it was more than just a job descripton it was something I loved to do. I love helping people. When I became a Massage Therapist working for myself, my customer service skills became even more important. I have a goal with each client i see to make sure they have the best customer experience possible. I work in a busy office setting along with a Chiropractor and an Acupuncturist. The bulk of my clients have needs beyond relaxation. I work with injury rehabs, post surgery rehabs, fibromyalgia patients, runners, professional dancers, athletes, you name it. Many of these people have had experience with massage before. I possess the skill to help these people and so do many other therapists. What seperates me is the experience i give them. At my center pre and post consultation is included in the cost of the massage. With me, you get what you pay for, so an hour massage is actually 60 minutes unlike most spa chains and salons that charge you for 60 minutes but service you for 45 or 50. I absolutely love the fact that not only do i help my clients with current issues but by building a trusting relationship, i can help them recover from and hopefully avoid future problems.
