Initial cleaning $33-35.00 hr with a two-three hour minimum.
What are your rates after my first initial cleaning?
Once you commit to a weekly/biweekly/monthly cleaning service rates will be between $30.00-$33.00 hr.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that there are times when you might need to cancel or change your cleaning appointment. We ask that you give us 24hours cancellation notice. Due to the high demand for our services, if you cancel less than 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, you will incur a $50 cancellation fee.

What makes your service different from any other cleaning service?
In addition to using products that are non-toxic biodegradable, free of harsh chemicals and fumes, all employees have been trained and certified at the Green Clean Institute of Technology, making them experts in cleaning green. It is just one way that we can do our part to reverse the damage already imposed upon creation. We desire to assist families and businesses with making the switch to a holistic, clean green way of life by providing our expertise and fresh, innovative ideas for healthier living.
What does a Residential Services include?
Residential Services includes a thorough cleaning of all surfaces such as floors, counters, baseboard, mirrors, furniture. Unlike other cleaning services, our cleaners will always clean corners, underneath beds, changing your sheets(clients must leave fresh sheets for the technician)and will move objects on a counter in order to clean underneath them. General Cleaning also includes disinfecting the kitchen, bathrooms.
What are your rates for my first initial cleaning?
Initial cleaning $36.00 hr with a three hour minimum.
Why does it take longer to clean my home the first time?
It is common for our teams to spend twice as long or more on a first-time cleaning then it takes us on a regular visit due to the extra attention and heavy deep cleaning.

What supplies do I need?
Nothing, Local Green Maid supply our technicians with an individual kit for each home/or office with all materials needed such as the color coded microfiber towels and mops to avoid cross contamination and hepa vacuums.
What type of products do you use?
All the products used by our Local Green Maid Technicians are non-toxic and biodegradable. Currently we are using Green Concept products which are Design for the Environment as well as kosher.
What type of lead time do I need to give when booking an appointment?
We require a 24-48 hour notice. But in some instances may be able to schedule that day.
Are you insured?
We are licensed, bonded and insured. In addition or staff have had extensive background checks and have signed confidentiality agreements to ensure our clients privacy.
Are you insured against damages? What about objects of sentimental value?
Local Green Maid, we treat your home as we would our own. However, in the event that an object is damaged, please notify our office within 24 hours and we will take action to provide compensation. We are licensed, bonded and insured. We also understand that every client has valuable and sentimental items that may not be replaceable, which is why we take extra care in your home.
What type of training does your staff receive?
All of our Local Green Maid Technicians have been certified by the Green Clean Institute of Technology in addition to the NYS Green Cleaning Program.
Do I have to be home when someone cleans?
The large majorities of our clients are professionals and are not home when we clean. Some clients let us in before they leave for work and show us how to let ourselves out and some clients opt to make us a set of keys.
We have pets, is that a problem?
No, but if your pets tend to get anxious around strangers it is best to keep them in an enclosed area during the first cleaning or until they become accustomed to the technician. Please remember that extra time is needed to rid an apartment of pet hair.
How do I pay?
We accept payments in check, cash, money order, and all major credit cards. Payments can be received by the Green Technicians at your home on the day the clean or you can call it in at 201-656-MAID.
Do you offer discounts or promotions?
If a new client uses our services following your recommendation you will receive a 10% discount on you next cleaning. Please provide us with your email address as we do offer discounts throughout the year.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that there are times when you might need to cancel or change your cleaning appointment. We ask that you give us 24hours cancellation notice. Due to the high demand for our services, if you cancel less than 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, you will incur a $35 cancellation fee. If a Local Green Maid Technician arrives at a scheduled cleaning appointment and is unable to gain access to your home you will be responsible for paying the full amount of the cleaning.
Are your services more expensive than traditional companies?
No, our rates are highly competitive with traditional cleaning companies. Also keep in mind that not only is your house cleaned but it is now a Toxin Free Zone saving you in added medical expenses and related costs.
What days / hours do you provide services?
We are available to our clients Monday through Saturday. Special appointments and pricing may be arranged for holidays. Our hours are typical and appropriate residential hours (8am to 5pm) and commercial hours (5pm on). We believe in getting the job done right and do our best to do it within the expected timeframe
Are your services guaranteed?
Yes, in delivering our services we strive to maintain the highest quality and provide the greatest value. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your green clean experience, simply contact us within 24 hours of your cleaning and let us know where we went wrong. We’ll come back at your convenience and re-clean any deficiencies free of charge. We do not currently offer a money-back guarantee.
