A. I often tell parents that ask me this question to talk to many teachers that they trust. Go with a recommendation not just an ad. Try a few lessons. If the teacher is flexible in scheduling and you/your kids like them, stick with the instructor!
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. I wish I could weed out the bad teachers from the good ones. Bad teachers are hard to see until the first few lessons, especially if the student likes the teacher.

A. What specific experience do you have in relation to what I want to hire you for? What age groups are you comfortable with teaching?
