Tony arrived and set everything up on time for our wedding reception. The sound system was fantastic and everyone had a great time!! He followed the playlist I had given him and did a great job getting people involved in the line dances...which were my 9 year old son's request. He was dressed in a tux and very professional which was a nice touch. The one thing I would have changed is the timing of the slow songs, they were all played during dinner which means nobody danced to them. Overall, we were VERY HAPPY!!!!!

JOE was our DJ For my 70th bday party. In addition to kereoke, through out the night, he had continuous videos of artists performing. There was continuous entertainment for 4 hours. Joe was very personable and interacted with my quests. I would definitely use him again and encourage others to do the same. Well worth the money. HE MADE MY PARTY!

The Jades DJ entertainment played a huge role in making my daughter's Sweet 16 a success! Due to circumstances beyond my control, I had to change the date of my daughter's party on short notice, which meant Tony himself was unavailable to work the party. Tony went out of his way to find another DJ to work the party in his place. DJTwinki (Kristin) was wonderful. She played the music my daughter wanted and did everything just as we requested. Tony's level of professionalism and commitment to making our event a success earns him an A+ in my book!

Tony was great. We had a few start up difficulties in communication and trying to get on the same page which made me worried about the outcome. However, once Tony got there, he was on point and very professional in his demeanor, well dressed and polite, it was evident he has been doing this many times before. He played song from our list and MC'ed all our requests perfectly, time went by so fast and everyone had a great time dancing to his music. It was a great time. I would use Tony for future events for sure.

Hannah's timeline was spot on, her group although small was a lively and dancing crowd. Having a European type reception was new to me, but following her timeline made all the difference. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is usually tailored to the event, the customer, and circumstances. Weddings range from $695 to $1300 or more. Retirements, birthdays, communions, etc start around $350 up to $895. Time, conditions, venues and some other factors can affect the final price. These prices reflect a four hour event. (weddings prices at the $1100 and up range usually are for 2 DJs and include a cocktail hour and other included features). We also run promotions, and special pricing options for Thumbtack clients. As a special promotion for Thumbtack clients, we are offering competitive pricing on many of our quotes. These prices do not reduce the quality of our service, we are attempting to establish our brand with the Thumbtack service. This should be a win-win for our customers. They get the benefit of our experience with budget pricing. It's like getting a Lexus for Smart car prices!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For mostly all our events we work with our clients to determine what their musical tastes are via requests and taylor our music to reflect that. Sometimes new customers are pleasantly surprised that we listen to their needs. The wedding reception is the pinnacle of your special day. Ask us how The JadesDJ make your special day personal. We have over forty years of DJ/Entertainment experience which can be an education in itself! We also subscribe to the latest music service (Promo Only), attend conventions and read and subscribe to industry periodicals.
