I am a small South Jersey based business that takes pride in installing all types of flooring including, hardwood, marble, granites, ceramic, carpet, laminate, and vinyl floors.

I also refinish hardwood steps and backsplashes to bathrooms.

Everything I do, I do it personally. No other subcontractors involved.

I've named my business after me to make sure people know my name, and to rest assured that my reputation is on the line.

I also take pride in taking care of one customer at a time. This allows me to dedicate myself to each customer, giving them the attention to detail that they expect and deserve.

I offer free estimates and measures.

I also offer "at home" shopping or "showroom" shopping in true wholesale prices.

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. I deal with quite a bit of Hardwood and all forms of tile work....But I don't believe there is anything common about my work.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Dont be afraid to check references and meet the actual person doing the work.... First impressions and instinct are usually correct....

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Every situation is different. I applaud anyone with the courage to take on a major renovation.... But sometimes you cant find knowledge in a book or a home improvement show.... Years of experience ensure the best methods and results .

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. I think its important that customers know what type of materials will suit their needs.....They should educated themselves not just on the type of materials they want but what the average cost should be....

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I take great pride in my attention to detail.... My name is on the business because I want people to know that they are able to deal with me directly in all aspects of their project.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love the finished project and excitement I see on my customers faces with the end result.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. Once I was renovating a bathroom.... Upon removing the old tilework...We found two bundles of "Confederate Money"... The bills were hand dated and hand signed... I couldn't believe I was holding a piece of history... I contacted the customer, who was at work.The customer was so excited and grateful, She shared some of the currency with me as a reward....

A. I do it right the first time so that the next time you call me..... Its for more work.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. I chat frequently on contractor forums and I always try to keep in contact with my product vendors....New products....better products that allow the job a more time efficient time line, without giving up strength and integrity....

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. Green.... Green.... Green. New products are arriving all the time that are not only cost effective but great for the future of our kids.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Take pride in your work.... If it doesn't look or feel right.... Make it right at that moment... Don't wait and leave an question mark on your work.
