I would like to completely recommend Doug for his handyman services. We needed more work done than we thought. His original estimate only went up slightly from what he quoted us, even with the extra work he did. He was professional, helpful, and even called us afterwards to make sure our leaky bathtub he repaired was no longer leaking. He repaired our kitchen cabinets and even helped us with a loose toilet fitting. Very happy with Doug and would happily recommend his services to anyone who needs a handyman.

I have hired Doug for many repairs/projects, including repairing a rotting shed, remodeling a laundry room and powerwashing. His prices are great and he is punctual, friendly and finishes his projects in a timely manner. I would highly recommend his services to anyone needing any kind of work.

One Call Does It All is a great company, that has the most affordable prices. My husband and I were looking for someone to Powerwash our home and deck. We hired Doug and his price was very low compared to most companies we requested an estimate from. He did a wonderful job and will definately be hired for more work in the future!

Douglas painted the inside of my home and did an incredible job. He made sure I was completely satisfied with his service, and that I was!

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. I pretty much do everything, but I commonly do bathroom remodeling, kitchen remodeling, tiles, painting, hardwood floors, deck remodeling and staining, and roofing.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Shop around and know what is out there as far as prices and products.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. That my prices are very affordable to the customer and they get great quality work at an affordable price.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Buyers should just really know what they want to be done and how they would like it to be done. I set up free estimates to take a look at what the job may be and try my best to see eye-to-eye with the customer to get the job done the proper way.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I would say my work stands out because I take my time to make sure the job is done right and the way my customers want it to be done. If something doesn't look correct to me or the customer, I redo it until the customer and myself are completely satisfied with the job.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. My job is something I have been doing as a young teenager, and I am very passionate about my work and what I do. I also love when customers like my work and appreciate what I do for them.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Customers often ask me how experienced I am, and I tell them I've been doing this same type of work for over 10 years. I enjoy what I do and make sure things get done the right way.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. When I first started out my business I helped out an older couple and they were so pleased with my work that they referred me to all of their neighbors in the developement they live in.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. I would like for customers to know that I am a very reliable person and my prices are very fair. All of my current customers always refer me to their friends, family and neighbors because they are impressed with the work that I do.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. As a kid I always loved fixing things, I worked/helped my uncle at his handyman business as a young boy, and ever since then it's what I knew I was destined to do.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. I remodeled a kitchen for a very loyal customer of mine and also built and designed a pantry for them that came out great!

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Yes, i often watch videos, read magazines and try to stay as updated as possible to learn new products and techniques.

Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.

A. My pricing system isnt very complicated at all, I do free estimates for my customers. That way I can show them and explain what needs to be donw and really break down the cost for them. This helps a lot because they see that they can trust me.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Have patience and take pride in your work. Even if it means you have to do a project over for 100 times to get it right. Customer satisfaction is the biggest key to success.
