Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. ALWAYS ask for experience, training methods (including types of collars), commitment, accessibility, and that they are able to handle the issues and concerns you have.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Many trainers use old methods, which train the dog out of fear and pain. Newer trainers use positive methods, which have been scientifically proven much more effective. Instead of training robot dogs, they train dogs to be dogs.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. What is the trainers experience? What are their methods? What happens if the dog does not learn? How can they be reach in between training sessions?
