A unique flight school, Freeflight Aviation is located at an airport nestled in Medford, NJ's rolling farmlands, the Flying W Airport Resort. Our goal is to offer an atmosphere of fun, informative flight training. As a social flying club, we also share our experiences with each other, a value asset when it comes to flight training. Whether it is having a discussion about aircraft or airspace instruments at one of our annual social events or sharing a flight on a monthly dinner fly-out, we share our passion. To us, aviation helps you grow as a person and changes your life.
We want to share with our local community our passion of aviation. Whether you would like to take a discovery flight, an airport tour, or see some airplanes, we invite you for a visit to our flight school and local airport.

A. Flight Instruction - Teaching people to fly small aircraft. Our flight instructors not only teach you to fly, but once you get your private pilot rating, they will teach you instrument flying ( for flying in the clouds).
Aircraft Mechanic - Performing maintenance on small aircraft. To keep our flight school airplanes flying, we must perform a 50 hour, 100 hour, and Annual Inspections

A. Now you ask, is it difficult to Learn to Fly? Is there an Age Limit? Flying, like anything in life is a challenge. You will find it fun, adventurous, educational, and, yes, challenging, but anyone can Learn to Fly. You must be16 years old to solo an airplane, 17 to get your pilot’s license. A. We are a flight school and flying social club. We have monthly flyout and other social events. It's a great way to meet other students and pilots, share experiences and learn from each other. Our local airport has a cafe, a summer pool, a hotel and other amenities.
A. In aviation, you meet all kinds of people. From the inexperienced pilot, the airline pilot, a business owner, the aviation mechanic, to the flight instructor, an aircraft builder, an engineer.
This is just a great place to meet friends with a lot of experiences and knowledge.
A. We try to keep our pricing simple.
We have membership dues to our flight school/social flying club.
We have houring flight instructor rates. Private Pilot rating is one cost. Any rating beyond the private pilot is another cost.
We have hourly pricing for each aircraft. This is based on the type of aircraft, the amount of fuel the aircraft burns, the year/cost of the aircraft, and the insurance coverage on the aircraft.
