Eagle Fitness has been serving Morris County and surrounding areas now for 6 years.

I have a small private studio in Mine Hill N.J., and work in clients homes as well. I am certified by The American Council on Exercise.

Experienced with a broad range of clientele, ranging from 10 to 75 years old, male, female, athletes, post rehab patients, overweight, and those who just want to look and feel better.

    Joe is by far the best personal trainer I've ever had - and I've had a few in the past! He is always punctual for appointments and has a great gym setup at his house. He is very knowledgable and safety when working out is always a top priority for him! He always knows just how hard to push me so that I get the most out of my workout. He also has a friendly outgoing personality that makes our training time fly by even amidst the sweat and hard work! I have been with Joe for 7 months and have lost 16 lbs (first 10 were slow to come off because of my unhealthy eating and lack of exercise on days off for the first 6 months) and the other 6 were during the last 2 weeks after actually listening to Joes recommendations. Besides the weight loss, Joe has helped me increase my strength, endurance and flexibility. When I started, I could do 5 push ups and I'm now up to 30! I would recommend him to anyone - he is great at creating a workout plan tailored to your goals and abilities. Thank you Joe! 16 lbs and counting...

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Make sure that they are certified by a recognized agency. Give them a call to see if you get along with them.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Some trainers have no certification. Some trainers are certified through an agency which does the whole certification process in one day.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Ask if they have experience with clients like them. Ask who they are certified with, and verify through that agency. Ask what the sessions will include.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I have been working in the personal training field for a total of 15 years. I started long ago before certification was required. I was out of the field for a few years, and then got my certification through The American Council on Exercise. Even though I have worked with many people through the years, I still get a thrill to see their improvement in both mind and body. Most desire a transformation of their physical self, and if they are devoted, they can reach this goal. Without expecting it, they undergo a tremendous boost in self image through an increase in confidence. This increase confidence comes from a better self image, and having struggled and met their goals. Seeing this transformation is what I love about my job!
