Charles Sparks Electric was very helpful!!! They showed up in a timely manor and they cleaned up after themselves (a task contractors usually charge extra for). As a single parent, I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of. Mr. Sparks took the time out to explain the problem to me and why the problem came to exist. I also LOVED the fact that Mr. Sparks explained the different options I had. They were not out just to make a dollar, unlike when you visit the car repair shop. I will continue to use Charles Sparks Electric for my electrical needs and they will be the first company I will keep in mind for any referrals. I give them an A ttttt!

I was unsure of the problem I was having with the electricity. The circuit breaker kept tripping. I spoke to a friend about the problem and he introduced me to Mr. Charles Sparks of CTS Electric. I explained to him the problem I was having with my electricity. He explained to me that it could be a circuit overload. I made an appointment for him to come and evaluate the problem. He arrived on time and ready to work. After evaluating the problem, he told me I had too many things connected to one circuit. He explained to me that he needed to add more circuits and three outlets. His explanation was very detailed and clear enough for a person who knows nothing about electrical work to understand. I felt very comfortable with him doing the work. I haven't had any other problems since the work was completed. Mr. Sparks followed up with a courtesy call to make sure things were functioning properly. Teresa from Newark, NJ

Promised to get out to evaluate a job and give me an estimate the day I spoke to him. He then proceeded to slow roll me for 3 days, telling me twice a day that he was “getting ready to head out there” before he finally went to the site. He finally got out to the site the day before a big 4 day holiday weekend (which he knew we needed the electrical work done for) and he then tried to extort me telling me I'd need to wire him $5,000 for him to even start the job. I’ve never dealt with someone so shady in my life! I absolutely would not recommend doing business with Charles Sparks!

Brian: Promised to get out to evaluate a job and give me an estimate the day I spoke to him. He then proceeded to slow roll me for 3 days, telling me twice a day that he was “getting ready to head out there” before he finally went to the site. Charles: Your feed back is very important to my company. i apologize for your delay, however a speedy estimate was delayed from third parties due to your companies requirements. Briann:. He finally got out to the site the day before a big 4 day holiday weekend (which he knew we needed the electrical work done for) Charles: Once all paperwork was completed from third parties and brian confirmed everything was to his company requirements that the work can be done by my company. I was on the job site with in a hour. I proceeded to evaluate the job and see how difficult it would be to complete the job before the holidays. Brian: and he then tried to extort me telling me I'd need to wire him $5,000 for him to even start the job. I’ve never dealt with someone so shady in my life! I absolutely would not recommend doing business with Charles Sparks! I spoke on the phone previous with brian and his comment was " i would like to complete this job before the holiday." Since the job was so close to the holiday also on a weekend,The men was on overtime and holiday pay which made the job costly. To accommodate brian. I ask for a deposit on the job which is in my rights as a contractor to ensure the speedy success of his job. Brian refused to pay the deposit and said he is going with another contractor!!!! My company would have completed before or after the holiday to his preference. Then sent my electrical license ,tax id number, insurance info, workman's comp , Basically all credentials that proves i am a NEW JERSEY STATE license electrician .My company has had the same number and name for over thirty years. brian only produce a name and number with a address from out of state. Then in good faith wanted me to upfront the labor money to start a excavation job which i was willing to due after the holidays on regular pay. Brian denied and job was closed. It was just a business deal that both parties could not come to a agreement.
