I know Fred personally for more than 40 years. His knowledge and expertise of all aspects of property repair and maintenance has always thoroughly impressed me. He has completed countless projects for my family: installed a new hot water heater; hooked up a new oven; did exterior masonry work. He installed a new back door at my son and daughter-in-law's home and repaired their sump pump. Fred listens to your needs and works with you to come to the best solution for the project at hand. He has a mild manner and is very easy to do business with. Thumbs up!

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. The most common jobs performed for residential clients are door and window replacements; bathroom remodeling; all types of home repair. For commercial clients: total demolition and renovation of their business space; upgrading and remodeling of their business property. REO clients: all facets of Property Preservation and Maintenance.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. The best advise is to shop around, get specifics from all of the contractors and try and make the best "apples to apples" comparison. It is important to know you are comfortable with the contractor who will be working for you. Don't always go with the lowest bidder. Remember: you get what you pay for!

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. The challenge that each new job brings. Going to different areas and meeting new and interesting people is a perk of the job. I enjoy creating the new "changes" that my clients are looking for. Working with them, listening to their ideas and interacting with them that we can come up with a viable, cost-effective solution.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Can I do what they are asking of me? Do I have another solution? And most importantly - how much will it cost?
Yes, I can complete just about everything that is asked of me. I do like to take a step back; think about the challenge at hand, and if necessary, come up with diffierent ideas or avenues of completing a project so that I can stay within their budget constraints.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. I recently renovated 4,000 square feet of space for an area Physical Therapy Center. This included space planning, the demolishing of existing walls, the building of new offices and exam rooms, the installation of rubber flooring to the work out area, painting, carpeting, etc. All completed over an extended holiday weekend, so as not to interrupt rehab time for facility clients. Recieved many compliments from the owner, his staff and his clients.
