I am Michael J. Rosa. I am a highly experienced, NJ State-licensed professional home inspector that has been inspecting homes for over 12 years. During that time I have performed thousands of home inspections.
I have been formally trained by the Home Inspection Institute of America, Inc. in Yalesville, CT, one of the finest home inspection schools in the country. The training was thorough and gave me good, solid inspection techniques, so that I know how to properly inspect a home.
I use the reporting system which is available from the Institute. It is an industry trendsetter that provides my customers with detailed information about the home.
I am also a senior-certified inspector though the Institute. This was obtained by a process which required me to submit report copies annually over the past five years for review and critique by the Institute.
They review the reports to see that I am in compliance with (and stay in compliance with) the ethics and standards of the Institute. The reviews are very critical and help keep me focused on being thorough.
In addition to being state licensed, I am also certified by the State of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection in two categories, for termite and other wood destroying insects and radon measurement. I am also certified for mold testing.
My NJ home inspector license number is 24GI00032900.

Mike -
Thank you very much for forwarding this to us. We appreciate all the work you've done for us and our new home. Our attorney was extremely impressed with your inspection report and said that it was one of the best she's seen. So thank you. We absolutely plan to recommend you to our friends who are currently in the process of searching for a home.
Thank you again,
Victoria

I am very pleased with my Certified Home Inspection performed by Mike Rosa. The inspection was extremely thorough, professional and lots of easy to read information. I understood the report fully, the report was very well organized. Most of all this inspector was most courteous to my questions, answered all my questions in a very pleasing manner. Each time I needed Mike's expertise he responded immediately to my concerns of a very important decision in purchasing this property. I can be assured that all the information provided to me is most accurate and can be relied upon. My most highest recommendations to this Inspector.

A. Don't hire an inspector based on price alone. Take into consideration the inspectors training and experience. Most good inspectors are not the lowest priced. Home inspectors new to the business lack the proper experience to properly inspect a home. They typically have to charge less in order to attract customers.
A. 1 - Ask how long they have been professionally inspecting homes.
2 - Are they NJ State licensed to perform home inspections.
3 - Do they belong to any national association of certified home inspectors such as InterNACHI
A. I feel that experience is a major factor when inspecting a home. I have been a full time home inspector for over 12 years and have performed thousands of home inspections. I also have a very unique and detailed reporting system. In addition I always take as much time as needed to explain my findings to my clients so that they fully understand the condition of the home I have inspected for them. I have found this approach to be very beneficial to my clients, especially if they are first time buyers. As the owner of the company I am always available for future questions or advice about the home.
A. Am I available on weekends?......... Yes I perform home inspections 7days a week.
Is there any additional charge for weekends..... No
A. There are many licensed inspectors that have very little or no experience inspecting homes. When hiring an inspector always ask for their credentials.
