Introduction: 1. This is a Social Dance School for Adults. I focus on several social dances at the same time so that you can dance anywhere, anytime. Most small schools are either strictly Salsa or Swing/Hustle while the big franchised schools are all ballroom studios. 2. You will learn how to dance rather than memorize a few fancy routines. That is a guarantee! 3. There are no contacts. You come because you are having a good time and feeling progress. 4. All classes are closed to the public. Your class will consist of students who are on the same level. This way, everyone is learning and feeling challenged -- always! 5. All group classes are in a program consisting of 6 sessions. This is how I keep my classes small, focused and fair. 6. Foundation programs start with a FREE class. This way you can check out my teaching methods before committing to the class. Basically, a great pressure-free way to try dancing for the first time. 7. Small classes, affordable prices, personal attention -- a big studio service with a small studio feel. 8. I encourage my students to dance and learn to dance anywhere and everywhere. Taking classes with other instructors, local dance socials, styling classes at another dance school --- GREAT! As long as you are dancing! It is fun and extremely rewarding! I take people who are scared of dancing or have had a bad experience in the past, and I show them how fun and easy dancing can really be. And I know they will be dancing forever!

My wife and I found Sasha when we were getting ready for our wedding and wanted to have a special first dance as husband and wife. We had tried dance lessons elsewhere and were not satisfied with the results. After our first lesson with Sasha, we agreed that she was the one. Sasha went above and beyond in helping us get ready for our wedding dance. She made the lessons fun and there was no intimidation. The result was an excellent first dance and we got lots of compliments on how well we looked on the dance floor. Since then we have signed up for several of Sashas group dance classes and have taken an occasional private lesson when we wanted to concentrate on a particular dance for an event that we were planning to attend. At these events, we usually get comments from people asking how long we have been dancing and how much fun it looks like we are having. We have not been dancing long, but we do have a lot of fun dancing. (There is also that romantic factor) We highly recommend Sasha as a dance instructor. She is professional, fun and has work-arounds for two left feet.

What can I say. I have been taking lessons on and off for over 10 years at different top rated dance clubs like Battista in Hackensack and the Continental in Bloomfield - both have excellent reputations. However, until I started taking lessons with Sasha I never had as much fun on the dance floor. Sasha has the gift of teaching interesting dance routines, making them simple to learn and making it fun as well. She definately has the Gift of Dance ! ! ! My wife Lenora and I are so happy we were introduced to her since she has added so much to our lives.

IT'S NOT EASY TO DANCE PROFESSIONALLY. YES, THAT'S WHAT WE ALSO USED TO BELIEVE, UNTIL WE FOUND SASHA. SHE MADE US BELIEVE THAT YES, WE CAN DANCE TOO. SHE WAS VERY PATIENT WITH US ALL TIME, BOOSTED THE CONFIDENCE IN OURSELF. SASHA IS FLEXIBLE AND CAN ADJUST THE TEACHING STYLE ACCORDING TO THE LEARNING PACE OF THE DANCERS. WE TOTALLY RECOMMEND HER. SHE IS THE BEST.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had just received a degree for chemistry/math and started working for a pharmaceutical. I was so miserable that I decided to take a few dance classes. One night out dancing, I met my future boss and asked him for a job. The rest is history.
