Introduction: I love music and I love people - as a professional I have to accomodate needs and if I have a strong sense of the requirements I do my best to fulfilll on the need. Generating the tone and quality of any event. Looking to see if the guests are having a great time and if they are not finding out what is missing and providing the needed changes.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was a working jazz vocalist for 8 years I am a good singer but hated the demands of the singing one type of music. As a DJ I can play any song I want fo any crowd and mix it up the best parties are the ones where the music is diverse. Some people are dragged to the party by their friends if you play a wide variety of music people will be happier it is not good at a birthday party for the party person to come too late - the guests want to party with you so come early. I also think theme parties can be a drag as well everybody does not want to be forced to do the 70s or the 80s some people just want to attend not live out the dreams in your head - theme parties really are for weddings where it is all about you. The party should be for everyone not just you. Take your guests into consideration they will brag about your kindness to everyone after they attend.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Club dates, private parties, outdoor events, organizational events, fundraisers I do not do weddings and I require a playlist of at least 50 songs that let's me know what songs will do well for your event and what songs not to play. A playlist insures the party will be a success - every party that they did not provide one were last minute the party could have been a better party.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Do not get overly stuck in a theme for your event most people want to just have a good time - some won't show up if they do not have the funds to go the extra mile for the theme and some themes are just plain corny - they live in your head not in the world.
