need one tire for my wifes car. so instead of buying one new tire, i was able to pick up a perfect used tire. saved money and had great service from the owner, david. as i was there i spotted 3 matching bf goodrich tires that i could use for my jeep. they were almost brand new. we looked all over the place for the forth tire. never found it. so i bought a matching tire at costco and had them installed the following week. dave is great to deal with and you can save money there (Hide)

Question and answer
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. First remember large companies have high bills, largely from advertising on tv. custumers should know when they go to these places they are paying not only for what the car needs but for advertising as well. Alot of unessessary parts and labor are payed for as a result. sad but true.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. if i were a custumer i would always look to see if the parts the tech says needs to be changed is really the problem.
many big namel, franchice owned shops have the constant pressure to show a designed amount of profit per week, month, or quarter, in order to impress investors. This forces them to do whatever necessary to meet their goals. Trusting innocent custumers usually pay the price. While sipping on "free" coffee they get ripped off, Most times they pay for unessessary parts and labor, sold to them by instructed staff, who are also pressured to sell, sell, sell or else...
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. Our work stands out from others because we're friendly, we're reasonably priced, and stand behind our work. If it's not right, we will fix it!
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. What we like most about working at Mega Auto Service is we provide excellent service at an affordable price.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. How much will it cost me to have my vehicle checked? Are you going to charge me a mininimum hourly fee like dealers do?
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I wanted to make a difference, i understood that people really dont have a choice between the dealers, and large franchice shops, which one kills them financially the most. I myself was a victim. When you need work done on your car you only want what necessary period.
Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.
A. we had a guy come to us for a wheel alignment. At least he thought. We found his problem was just some loose bolts on his ball joint, tighed them up and did the alignment. Most shops would have sold him a new ball joint plus labor.
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. I have completed the necessary 5 course training for emmission repairs afte state inspection. also have a/c certification licence.
