Introduction: Are you ISO that photographer who loves taking pictures and who sees the same beauty you see in the mirror. 😱 That photographer who can naturally reflect that on camera and really sees you. 🪞
Then look no further 😌📸✨ You are officially one step away from booking an adventurous, relaxed and unforgettable photo shoot with, Louis 😎📸✨🗺️🌁🌅🏞️🌄.
A little about me, I grew up in the 90’s. My first camera was one of those disposable 35mm cameras. From as early as 8 yo. my mom was always ready with one. I would take them everywhere. From overnight camp Ockanickon, a hop, skip and jump away from the girls, Matolionaquey 🏕️ in Medford Lakes, where we’d canoe 🛶 and play Archery and I would take pictures. I would take my disposables with me on all of my trips, from my mount laurel little league soccer games to random ocean city beach trips driving through the pinebarrens.
Then later on after the fun was over, you’d never guess who’d surprise me with a CVS envelope full of negatives and prints of all my adventures 👩👦and not to be too cheesy, but I hope I can share that treasured experience with you. Pictures are a wonderful gift 🎁
So, I eventually got a point and shoot and then purchased my first Canon Vixia Hfs200 at age 18 from working at the gas station and bus-boying at The Pub in Camden. Nothing was handed to me easily after those disposables.
High school, I signed up for tv tech classes and edited bank robbery stock footage on Final Cut Pro 7, then at Rutgers NB, got my Politicial Science Degree, worked on documentary films and got a film certificate 📜 assisted edited Netflix docs and was featured at the Smithsonian in DC for a prison reform interview series.
At the time I edited using Premiere Pro, purchased a 5d Mark iii, a BlackMagic 4K, and the Ronin MX and a bunch of other gear. 3x Canon 600EX II-RT were gifted to me by The Wedding Man and a bunch of other gear in the early 2000’s to make films and shoot live events.
Now, I run my own operation, work independently and love being an independent artist 💛
So, I still have a 35mm camera, a Minolta Srt-201 , i also have a Canon digital point and shoot with the little flash attachment in the front and a Canon RZ60 Camcorder as well as a Mamiya Rb-67 usually shooting medium range. I sometimes use these older style camera formats, just for fun. If you would prefer not to include them, or to exclusively use any for of a vintage look, let’s collab!!
My main camera body is a Canon R5. ❤️
Lastly, I cannot overstate!!! Collaboration is fundamental 🙌 we need to discuss your attire, I need to see images of you and know the colors, genre, setting and relevant material for the shoot. I LOVE reference images and plans. Do not hesitate to send references and mood boards!! If you travel without a map 🗺️ 🙅🏻♂️ you will never get to your destination.
