I am the Program Chairman for the Troubadour , an ongoing weekly acoustic concert series now in its 48 year of continuous operation. We have presented Carla Ulbrich many times going all the way back to 1997. Carla is a comical singer-songwriter and guitarist with a rapier wit and a keen observational eye for the absurdities of everyday living. With a love of wordplay and some pretty fancy guitar chops, she creates songs on topics as diverse as wedgies, Waffle House, and Klingons. She is a longtime favorite on the Dr. Demento show, and puts on an utterly hilarious live show.

I can provide a sound system and lights for an extra fee, if you do not have lights & sound.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We usually get on the phone, talk about the event and the people attending. Once we are clear on details I send out a contract.

Standup and improv classes at the UCB, the PIT, the Magnet theater, Gotham writers group.
