Experience counts when hiring a home inspector.

I provide home inspections, termite reports, and radon analysis.

With over 14 years in the field of home inspection, and more than 35 years in building and remodeling houses, I can offer a home inspection that is very detailed and informative.

My customers have said that they have had good inspections before, but that I did a great inspection.

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Seek someone who has the background of having been a sucessful home improvement contractor. I have a soild background in home construction and renovations, and have done most installations myself and when necessary hire in a helper that's willing to learn. I like doing my own home maintenance. This help keep my mind aware and alert to the many problems a house may have.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. How long have you been in the business? What was your background before entering the home inspection field? Do you have any skills that that would make you excel as a home inspector? What special tools do you use? Do you write your own reports? How many trades are you familiar with or have actually work in?

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I apply myself better than most and take everything seriously until I know the house better. With every inspection I do, I have to put effort into it and work hard at it. No matter how much I may know about house systems, without putting fort effort in my work, I will not have done as good a job as I could have.
