I'm a private computer consultant and tutor providing one-on-one computer tutoring services to local customers, which range from beginners to advanced users.

I possess more than 15 years of experience teaching clients how to use a computer. My heartfelt patience and easy step-by-step clarifications have made me popular with senior citizens.

The satisfaction of seeing my students comprehend something for the first time, is what makes my work as a tutor so satisfying!

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. My most common students are senior citizens wanting to learn the computer for the first time, usually to be able to communicate with family, such as grandchildren.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. My computer tutoring services stand out from others because I am extremely patient when it comes to working with beginners and senior citizens.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love to see the look on my students' faces when they understand something on the computer for the first time. It is extremely rewarding!

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I have always enjoyed working with computers and sharing my knowledge with the public. When I was 15 years old, I began teaching local residents how to use their computer and developed a knack for it. Later, I taught computers at the local library where I gained more clients.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Knowledge is a huge factor. But without the ability to share and teach what you know, the knowledge won't travel very far. The ability to teach does not come easy. And patience is key!
