I recently moved to the area and have 3 dogs and needed a walker. They seemed good and the owner, Jon, was always responsive whenever there were questions or concerns. He assigned Trisha, one of the walkers, to our house. I gave specific instructions for the dogs to be walked since I am paying for a dog walker and my pitbull Champ's daycare recommended structured daily walks. I would come home to constant mud all over my house (even on sunny days), empty water bowls and my doors were left unlocked on multiple occasions. I mentioned everything to Jon at least once but had an uneasy feeling when I came home one day. I have a camera which I told Jon about and set it up to face the backyard and sure enough, Trisha would leave my dogs outside in the backyard and put my pitbull in a 4x6 fenced in garden that I have and leave them out there for 15 minutes unattended while she was inside. She did not even pick up after them, there was poop in my garden. I took screen shots and photos and called Jon. When I came home, the note said "went for a long walk with the boys today" which was a lie. Now, mistakes happen and we understand that but not once did Jon apologize to us or acknowledge what happened. He said "Trisha made a mistake and she knows it" not "we are sorry" nothing! My husband had to ask to get reimbursed for 2 days, he didn't even offer a refund, a credit or even an extra 10 minutes with the dogs for the next week. If you would like to see photos, email me! I obviously found another walker immediately and of course, Jon sent me an invoice for the 4 times he came after the incident. A reputable company wouldn't penny pinch a client especially after an incident where their dogs were not properly taken care of. If you care about your animals like I do, I would not recommend these walkers; they do not give your animals enough time. Like the old saying goes..."you get what you pay for" so I shouldn't be too surprised....

I have known Aly & Jon since they began the Comfy Canine, over ten years! They have always gone out of their way to accommodate my needs, and those of my dogs and cats. It is a privledge for me to give testimony as to their professionalism and love that they show to all the dogs they care for. I have recommended the Comfy Canine to everyone I know who owns a pet.

Alyson is the most caring and loving person. She has taken care of our three little boys every vacation. She is most dependable & leaves us notes everyday she visits, of course the water bowl is always filled. Seeing a picture of the boys so happy while I'm away brightens my day.
