- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Design and making things work & look better has always been in my blood. I can remember when I was in elementary school walking around the halls and thinking, "Man, this place needs to be re-designed", and would think of all the possibilities I could do with it. I would always rearrange my furniture as a kid and loved to paint my walls very unique but always tasteful colors. Then the first time I walked into a hotel...I fell in love. I loved the conceptual aspect of the feel the hotel portrayed and everything that must have went into getting this place on paper to construction and completed. The coordination of it all-all phases and parts. I have an extreme passion for hotel design. Overall, it is a passion and just wanting to help clients make their spaces more fulfilling.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If you are nervous about hiring a designer, don't be. Designers have solutions where you may not be quite sure what to do. If you are concerned about renovation costs, even small changes make a big difference. Once you work with an interior designer you will learn quite a bit from them and will experience just what kind of difference they can make to your space.
