Introduction: We manufacture our own products like wall beds and slide out shelves. We are very flexible to clients needs and wants. We have many choices of stains woods and styles. We can also do custom stains and if you have a certain design in mind we can do it if at all possible. We also offer installation for all our products. We also have a valid Contractors lic. We have been in business for over 35 years starting in Arizona and now here in New Mexico. Service and promptness is very important and we have never had a complaint with BBB or the Chamber of Commerce

After searching online for companies that made Murphy Beds, we were pleasantly surprised to find a local builder here in town. Dave Arguello contacted us within days of our initial request for a quote. He came to our house, measured our bedroom wall space and went over several styles and options for the room. Never once did he pressure us to add additional upgrades to the basic bed unit. We also went to his shop to see the quality of his work before he began our bed. He really does put the "C" in custom. He was very patient with me even though I changed the style and color stain of our wall bed at least three times before he started the project. It took about a month to complete the job but the finished product is well worth the wait. All in all, his prices were cheaper than ordering a bed online or buying a wood substitute model at local furniture stores. I can't recommend this company enough.

David just installed a queen size wall bed with side cabinets for us. We are so pleased with the quality of his work that we've asked him to also make a matching storage unit for our spare bedroom/TV/sewing/exercise room. The piece is a nice size and proportion and looks really nice -- it's an attractive piece of furniture which means we didn't have to give up the closet for the murphy bed. It's more than attractive enough as a stand-alone unit that doesn't need to be hidden away.
The wall bed folds up so we have floor space as needed and folds down for when guests arrive or we want to hang out on the bed and watch movies. The mechanism for raising and lowering the bed is of much higher quality than other murphy beds I've had/used and the cabinetry is top quality.
Dave takes great pride in his work and knows all of the details. He's even willing to make changes as needed (we forgot to ask for him to install recessed lights, which he said he can put in the murphy bed when he bring the shelving unit). We could not be more pleased.

We could not be happier with our new queen sized murphy bed!! We needed extra sleeping space and the only place was in the sewing room. We decided on extra shelving and drawers to be made to fit on either side of the bed. More than doubled the storage space and Alejandro and team made a drop-down 4 ft. square table that is just perfect for sewing projects and scrapbooking. Alejandra has many styles to choose from, woods that are just magnificent and takes the time to work with you to make the work of art of your dreams. We ordered the last of November, a very busy time for the company, but we knew the wait was coming so no problem Actually just less than 3 months and we have the completed unit installed. If you order earlier in the year, the wait would not be as long. In any event, the wait was more than worth it. If thoughts of a murphy bed of any size are running in your head, give Alejandro a call. You won't be sorry.

We contacted Alejandro (David) Arguello in August 2012 to explore the possibility of making two queen size wallbeds for our new home. He was very agreeable and we met to discuss it. My husband and I wanted southwestern style cabinet-like furniture that would allow us to use two rooms of our home as an office and craft room.
David was very agreeable and enthusiastic about the southwestern theme. After we visited his workshop and home and saw a wallbed he had made and photos of lots of other furniture., we engaged him to make ours. David and his assistant Fernando were really wonderful to work with. We were allowed to "design" the outside look of the wallbeds, choose the wood, accent colors, conchos, and hardware. I wanted a fold-down table attached to the front of one, side cabinets, and nightstands. David came to our new house to take precise measurements. He made great suggestions, such as pull out shelf for the nightstands. He kept us informed all along the process and invited us to visit his workshop several times to observe and make minor decisions.
It only took about one month for the beds to be made and installed in our home. We could not be happier! They are beautiful and each one is the focus of the room. He took our timeline seriously and he and Fernando worked very hard to install the beds before our open house. in early October.
We highly recommend David Arguello of Slide-a-Shelf for the quality of construction and material, and also the wonderful and personable attitude toward our project. Can't say enough about them. They are fair, fast, and friendly.
We really feel we got superior products from them.

What a great surprise that David is our neighbor. The family business, Slide-a-Shelf, is a reputable company that does high-qualitywork. We wanted a wall bed made to make our guest bedroom become more multi-purpose. There were many choices for type of wood, furniture style, color, finish and hardware. We're very happy with the new wall bed, and are glad to have found a trustworthy craftsman.
