Introduction: Watts Home Staging. I am independent home stager, with a small work staff. My experience comes from working with Realtors and home investors in staging their homes for sale. Part of my responsibilities when meeting my clients would be to examine the most obvious problems with in the house if any. This may include things like cleaning and landscaping. Carpets are shampooed; surfaces are wiped clean; clutter is eliminated; grass is mowed, and hedges are trimmed. Any necessary repairs and maintenance will also usually be done as well. This may include little things, like repairing peeling wallpaper and repainting as well as larger jobs, such as patching holes in the wall or replacing the carpeting. After the most obvious issues are taken cared of, I will then begin working on decorating the residence. Furniture is carefully placed in order to maximize the space. We also pay particular attention to the flow of traffic in a room when placing furniture as well. Other small touches are usually added last. This includes decorations, like artwork and fresh-cut flowers, etc. We carry all the furniture to be placed in the home. Once the home is sold, we move the furniture to the next project. This way, there are no additional cost to the customer in having to buy any type of furniture to be placed in their home for showing. We make it as easy and comfortable for the customer as possible.
