Where do we begin? Our daughter struggled desperately with Geometry, Algebra II/Trigonometry and Pre-Calculas over the past three years. In just six weeks, she went from confused and frustrated to confident and excited. Ms. Shaw took complicated math formulas and broke them down to easy to understand steps. Our daughter's school grade jumped two full levels. Her score on the SAT soared to a level we did not think possible prior to her tutorial sessions with Barbara. We are so blessed we found Barbara before it was too late. You can be sure my sons will be using her services in the upcoming school year and for the next few years to come. She is truly the best I have ever come across and recommend her highly to any student stuggling or any good student who simply wants to become great!! Yesterday I had my first Spanish tutoring session with Barbara, who goes under the name of "Spanish4Kiddos." She was there on time at the appointed site with Spanish lessons prepared for me. She kept us on topic and we were able to accomplish a lot during the two hours. It's my intention to meet with her for two hours each week for the foreseeable future. I think I can raise my level of Spanish with her teaching. Would I recommend her? Certainly! But I'm reminded of a questionnaire I was asked to complete for a piano teacher a few years ago. Under the section labeled "Would you recommend this teacher?" I put no. Asked why? I put "because someone else might get my time." Thanks.

A typical process when I'm working with a new customer is: Provide enough information about the educational goals or writing, provide a reasonable quote about the work and time expected to be completed, and if necessary, a contract may be needed for extended amount of work (writing)

Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry Bachelor's of Science in Biochemistry Secondary Science Teaching License - Chemistry, Physics, and Earth Science

I have worked with a variety of customers from all ages - 5 years old and up. I've worked with young elementary students as well as with adults wishing to improve their Spanish speaking and language skills.
