Every time I've called Chris on computer technical difficulties I've had with my laptop he's delivered the exact right solutions very fast and with no delay. This has saved me money and time. When I needed to buy a new computer, Chris did all the research for me and did all the set up very quickly, again saving me time and money. Chris is extremely knowledgeable, relays information to me in easy to understand terminology, is very quick with spotting problems and solving them with minimal effort equating to saved time and money for me. I appreciate his thoroughness and eagerness to deliver top quality service at very fair prices. I always get more good customer service from Chris than I believe I am paying him for.

Question and answer
Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Mostly repair. I also do a lot of maintenance and upgrades. Office networking has gotten more common now as well.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Be patient. There are very few problems that are a quick fix. Most require digging into what is causing the issue and then resolving it. It may take some time.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Something I have learned over time is that the price of software does not reflect its effectiveness. I have found many free software programs designed to protect the computer from viruses that do very well and better then many paid for programs.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. 1. A description of the problems (if you have one)
2. What type of computer you currently have.
3. What you would like to have done (i.e. upgrades, new hardware, networking)
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I take the time and care to make sure the job is done right. I will do everything I can to find the source of the problem and fix it rather than just recommend replacement.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I like helping people. Not everyone understands how computers work or how to fix them, so I use my knowledge and experience to help them.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. "Can it be fixed?" And my usual answer is "Yes" because most computer problems are a maintenance related issue and when the maintenance is done, the problem often goes away.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. It was out of necessity that I got into computer repair. I had taken some classes in school and was one of the few people around who understood what needed to be done. I love solving problems. :)
Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.
A. I recently setup a new location for a business top move into. It required redoing a lot of the network cables and setting up the network infrastructure so that the server and pcs could be connected and be ready to go.
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. Always. Computer technology changes all the time. So I keep abreast of whats new and I get experience with these new developments as soon as I can.
