Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. When hiring a wedding photographer you have to make sure you enjoy their work. If you can envision yourself in their photos then that's what you want.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Don't be afraid to ask a photographer what camera they shoot with. Research if you don't already to ensure the camera they are using is a full-frame camera. Ask them what lenses they have also. Because the lenses make a huge difference. Then also ask what they use for post processing of the photos.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. You don't have to have every detail of your wedding planned before you hire a photographer. But knowing a date or date range if you want to make sure that photographer is available is a must. Ask your photographer for advice on helping plan the day for the perfect times for photos. Other people that will help coordinate your day don't always have photos in mind.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. As a wedding photographer I don't just like but I love being a part of couples special day. Seeing the love and passion they have for each other makes me fall in love with my hubby even more!
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I loved taking pictures for fun. I felt like I always could see the photo in my mind before I put the camera up to my eye. But when I shot my first wedding for a friend I was hooked. The love and passion that comes with weddings is addicting to me.
Q. What are your most common types of jobs?
A. The most common type of jobs I do are weddings. Being in Las Vegas there are a lot of them. But I also shoot Engagement sessions and then book weddings from that.

We first worked with Mindy and Doug on an impromptu engagement shoot in Vegas – after seeing the photos, I HAD to have her for our wedding. We got married in Winnipeg, Canada – a fry cry from the photo opportunities in Vegas…and I STILL cannot believe the photos Mindy took – AMAZING. I am convinced she can take any location or situation you throw at her and produce the most breathtaking shots! I am already looking for excuses to work with Mindy and Doug again!
