My work stands out from others like me because unlike others this is my full time job. All my past work experiences have centered around animals, from working as a vet assistant, in a shelter, even a renown dog hotel in Midtown, Manhattan. I honestly enjoy every aspect of it, but what beats everything is the chance to meet so many different animals, all with different personalities !

I can't say enough good things about Samantha. She took excellent care of my giant puppy. He has a pretty serious fear issue and I was reluctant to leave him with a stranger, but in our initial Meet and Greet Samantha just seemed so warm and EXCITED to get to know my dog that I figured I'd give it a chance. By the time I picked him up, it was obvious that he had been treated well, and trusted and loved her (he could have cared less that I walked through the door to get him!!!). She is very accomodating- my darling Cicero is over a 100lbs of ill mannered puppy and she had not one negative thing to say about him. She was also able to accomodate a longer stay than anticipated and kept me up to date with a great picture and text messages. She's also honest- I accidentally paid for an extra day, which she promptly notified me of. We'll leave it at this- I hope she was serious when she said she'd welcome Cicero back in her home!!

For anyone Who's thinking of using NYC Pet Service's look no further, I left my two Bostons under her care for a month (Junior & Ellie) when I went on vacation with my wife. We were encouraged by her to check in with her on a daily bassis if we wanted to just too make sure they were ok since it was our first time with out our babies. When we came back it was as if they found a second home with all there new doggie companion's they made in there stay with NYC Pet Service's. I encourage anyone who's looking for a sitter or walker to use there Service's you won't find a better animal lover then Stephanie(owner). Thank You NYC Pet Services.

We were very happy with Samantha's service, she took care of our 2 year old Dachshund, Rusty, We had such piece of mind knowing that she was taking care of everything for Rusty while we were on vacation. She is very professional and thorough. When ever I emailed her about how my Rusty was doing, she emailed me back ASAP. When I called her, she was there to answer. I know my Rusty had a good time with the other pups she was also taking care of. Her prices are great and she truly cares for and loves your pets. She even emailed me two days after we picked up Rusty to see how he was doing. We will definately use her in the future, she's awesome!

samantha truly cares for animals just as anyone would for their child! Once i dropped my dog off, he was acting as if he were at home! She gives them tons of love and attention. She is reliable and always answers any concerns or questions one may have. I keep bringing my dog back because i know he loves it, and i wouldnt leave my dog wit anyone who just looks after him I want someone who gives him affection, love and fun, and that person is samantha. She is the greatest.

PRICES ARE AS FOLLOWED Rates for Basic Pet Services -Dogs and Cats- Free Consultation - for the initial meeting in your home or in our store with you and your pet to answer your questions, gather information, and get acquainted. This meeting is complementary so please just ask to schedule a date and time. Dog Walking - $15 for 30 minutes $20 for 45 minutes $30 for 60 minutes With Second Dog, Same Household Additional $10 for 30 minutes, $15 for 45 minutes, $20 for 60 minutes Daycare - starts from drop off till pick up 35$ NO MATTER WHAT SIZE (PACKAGES AVAILABLE) **Drop off begins at 8:30 a.m till 9 p.m each additional hr is $5** House Visits - Includes feeding, fresh water, play & cuddle time, and 15 minute walk for dogs $20 per visit Overnight Boarding - includes feeding, fresh water, pet pick up&drop off (if needed), play & cuddle time, ample walks to Astoria Park, and all the love & attention they receive in their own home&deserve :) Dogs- $40-$50 (depending on size&breed) Cats- $25-$30 (depending on size) Multiple Pets -depending on length of stay a special rate can be worked out if you have more than one pet. Grooming - Bathing and Brushing $35 AND please call for additional grooming services ! KEYS - should be given at the time of the Initial Consultation
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Being a huge animal lover since birth has given me the opportunity to learn and soak up so much information through out the years. I keep learning new things every day by doing research, school, and fellow walkers. Pet Sitters International, to whom I am insured through, also has monthly discussions which help with certain topics when it comes to our furry companions. What I love about my field is that there is something new to learn every day !!
What types of customers have you worked with?
My most common types of jobs would have to be overnight boarding. I believe its because it gives my clients a sense of comfort knowing i'm home almost 100% of the day. Also that all the care I offer is cage-less and gives their pets a like home feeling free of stress & anxiety.
