FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My freelance business began almost five years ago, when it seemed like everyone I knew was engaged to be married. Many of my family and friends knew I had access to design programs and asked me to make paper goods like invitations and favor tags for their, bridal showers or engagement parties. Slowly I began to build a portfolio of pieces that I had made over the years and realized this could more than just a hobby and perhaps something I could market and sell. Most of my clients have heard about me through word of mouth through their friends. I am definitely looking forward to expanding my work and my client base.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of the designs I have produced are graphic design prints for weddings and related events, party invitations, birth announcements, thank you cards and many other types of stationery. The majority of these projects are one-sided cards with envelopes or one-sided cards sent as postcard mailers. If requested, any design can be made into a fold over notecard. Along with the prints, I also offer to my clients free address labels (mailing and return labels) that match and coordinate with their stationery. I love being able to customize my products as much as possible, so please do not hesitate to ask for anything!
